![]() | "Making Biscuits" Titch helps his Mum to do some baking in the kitchen. In the process he manages to cover Tailcat with flour, and spills sugar on the floor. But with a lot of help from Mum, the resulting biscuits go down a treat with the rest of the family. |
![]() | "The Fancy Dress Party" Titch is going to a fancy dress party with Peter and Mary. Unfortunately, they have beaten him to the dressing up box and there's not much left to choose from. He has a witch's hat and a feathered head-dress, but he can't decide what to be. When he accidentally trips over Tailcat, the hat covers his nose and looks a bit like a beak. The feathers fall down to his waist, so he goes to the party as a bird. |
![]() | "You'll Soon Grow Into Them, Titch" Titch's coat is too small for him. Peter gives him an old one of his - it is huge on Titch, but Peter says he'll soon grow into it. Similarly, Mary gives Titch an old hat of hers, which nearly covers his whole face. Mum realises that he needs some new clothes, and buys him a new coat and hat. Titch gives his old clothes to his baby cousin. They're much too big for him but as Titch rightly points out, he'll soon grow into them. |
![]() | "Spaceman Titch" Mary and Peter are playing with some boxes. Titch helps them to make a pirate ship and a train but he soon knocks some boxes down and then gets stuck together with sticky tape! Peter and Mary then make a spaceship but Titch is the only one small enough to fit in. The sky's the limit for Spaceman Titch! |
![]() | "Tidy Titch" Mum complains that Peter and Mary's bedrooms are a mess. But Titch's room is very tidy, so she suggests he helps his brother and sister with cleaning their rooms. This he does, with a few inevitable mishaps along the way. But Titch keeps all the junk that Peter and Mary decide to throw away and his own room is soon cluttered up. |
![]() | "The Picnic" On a lovely day Mum suggests that she and Titch go for a picnic in the park. Our hero is deciding what to take with him and amongst other things he picks up his old train set, some toy cars, crayons and a drawing book. Titch's Mum sees the big pile and explains that he can't carry it all. Just then it starts to rain, so the picnic is off. But Titch suggests that they have the picnic indoors - which they do - and he's able to play with all the toys too! |
![]() | "Gardener Titch" Titch tries to help his Mum clean the kitchen floor but makes it messier than it was when she started. He helps Peter and Mary in the garden instead, inadvertently soaking Peter and re-planting all the weeds which Mary has dug up! He then digs up Dad's prize-winning spinach thinking it to be a weed, but it turns out that Dad was going to do it anyway because Mum needs it in the kitchen. |
![]() | "Titch Was Little" Titch gives Peter and Mary a hand with making a window box for Mum's birthday. Unfortunately he makes both Peter and Mary lose their concentration and hurt themselves. He also drops the nails. His bossy sister Mary queries whether it's time for Titch's bedtime! On his own he plants a seed and decides to give that to his Mum. It soon grows and presently is bigger than Peter and Mary! |
![]() | "Sleeping Baby" Titch helps Auntie Margaret to get Baby Joe to go to sleep. Having succeeded, the peace is shattered by Mary's violin practice. Titch and Tailcat rush upstairs to tell her the baby is sleeping but in thumping so hard on her door it is they who wake the baby! Titch rocks the pram again, and the baby falls asleep. Then Dad starts sawing and Peter plays his records loud so Titch asks them both to be quiet. After all the activity, Titch is so tired that he soon falls asleep along with Tailcat and Baby Joe. |
![]() | "Camp Fire" Grandpa comes round to look after Titch because everyone else has gone out. The two get to work in the garden, with Titch helping clear up and make a big pile of garden rubbish. Burning down the dead branches and weeds makes a great camp fire and the pair have great fun pretending to be cowboys and cooking sausages. |
![]() | "Bedtime, Titch" Titch is frightened by a bedtime story and tries to attract the attention of Dad, Peter and Mary who are watching football on the television downstairs. They're not pleased when Titch interrupts their viewing at a crucial point in the game. But the strange sounds from under Titch's bed turn out to be Tailcat, and Titch finally gets to sleep. |
![]() | "The Christmas Tree" It's almost Christmas and TDe tree is being decorated. Dad is having the usual trouble with the tree lights - they don't work. Titch helps to decorate the tree but breaks the lights. Then he drops a few decorations, and eventually knocks the tree over. Then he wraps a present for Tailcat, but Tailcat is in the box already and a strange moving parcel provieds much amusement! |
![]() | "A Snowy Day" It's been snowing, and Titch is going to give Peter and Mary a hand with the clearing of the steps at the front of the house. In trying to get his outdoor clothes from the coat stand he knocks everything else off onto the floor! Peter and Mary have great fun throwing snowballs at Titch who unintentionally gets his own back by covering them both in snow when he tries to clear the steps. Everyone makes a snowman and Titch provides the finishing touch. |
![]() | "Pancakes" Grandpa and Titch had planned a surprise. While the rest of the family were out for the afternoon, they were going to bake a special cake with chocolate, nuts and cherries in it. Unfortunately, the rest of the family didn't know that the ingredients were meant for a cake and they ate them before they went out. But Grandpa and Titch, as resourceful as ever, managed to create a delicious treat out of flour and eggs. |
![]() | "Decorator Titch" Dad, Peter and Mary were decorating Mum and Dad's bedroom. Mum wasn't sure about the red paint that Dad was planning to paint the doors with. Then Titch decided to help. Unfortunately, Titch knocked the can of red paint into the can of white, and the colour changed to pink. Fortunately, pink happened to be Mum's favourite colour! |
![]() | "Bathtime Titch" Grandpa was coming over to look after Titch while the rest of the family went out for the evening. Mum wanted Titch in the bath, and into his pyjamas before Grandpa arrived, but every time Titch tried to have a bath, someone else beat him to the bathroom. When he did eventually get into the bathroom, all the hot water had been used up, and his bath water was cold. But then Grandpa arrived with a toy boat, and they both knew the perfect place to sail it. Click here to see a clip from this episode. |
![]() | "Sticky Titch" Dad was glueing down some tiles in the kitchen when his precious cup final ticket arrived through the letterbox. Dad put the ticket safely in his back pocket, and went back to the kitchen to finish his work on the tiles. But then Titch decided to help Dad, and that's when Dad's ticket mysteriously disappeared, and Mary's favourite football card from her set, and Peter's best stamp from his collection! But it was Titch who found them, and in a most unlikely place! |
![]() | "Lost and Found" Titch was very upset. Not only had his friend Sam moved from next door, but Tailcat was lost. The whole family searched, and eventually Dad thought he had found him. But the black and white cat, who looked just like Tailcat, happened to be the new next door neighbour's cat - so what had happened to Tailcat? |
![]() | "Great Aunt Edna" Great Aunt Edna was coming to tea, and Mum made Titch wear the jumper that Great Aunt Edna had knitted for him. Peter and Mary thought Titch looked very funny in the jumper, and kept on teasing him. But the tables were turned when Great Aunt Edna arrived with packages for Peter and Mary... |
![]() | "Visiting Grandpa" Peter, Mary and Titch went to visit Grandpa. Peter and Mary wanted to go and explore in the fields, and Titch wanted to go with them. Grandpa said that he could, but he must wear a scarf to keep warm, and mustn't get lost. Peter and Mary raced ahead, and by the time Titch caught up with them, they realised that they were lost. But Titch noticed that his scarf was a lot shorter than it should have been and he knew how to get back to Grandpa's cottage. |
![]() | "Spotty Titch" Titch was really looking forward to going to the seaside with his best friend, Daisy, but when the day arrived, both he and Daisy were covered in spots. They both had chicken pox. They couldn't go to the seaside after all - but that didn't stop them having a good time. They created their own seaside in the garden. |
![]() | "The Train Set" Titch's birthday was approaching and he desparately wanted the train set he'd seen in a shop window. Each day he went to admire the train set, but each day part of the train set was missing until eventually, only the track was left. Somebody had bought it, and Titch was very disappointed. But Titch didn't realise who had bought it - until his birthday. |
![]() | "Best Friend" Titch was practising his drumming. It made a terrible noise. He wanted to play the drums for his friend, Daisy, who was coming round to see him. Daisy arrived playing her recorder. She played so beautifully that Titch decided he wouldn't play the drums for her until he'd had more practice. They played games with Peter and Mary in the garden instead, and Daisy was brilliant at everything. But suddenly there was the sound of thunder, and poor Daisy was terrified of the noise. But then Titch had an idea - he'd play the drums for Daisy, then she wouldn't be afraid of the thunder, because she wouldn't be able to hear it! |
![]() | "Windy Day" Titch was trying to help Peter, Mary and Dad, who were working in the garden, but the wind kept snatching things from his grasp, and blowing them away. He tried to help Mum by hanging out the washing - but that kept blowing away, as well. Then the balloon that he'd been planning to play with blew away, high into the sky, and Titch had nothing to pl;ay with. But then Grandpa arrived with a present, and that present was meant to go flying high into the sky! |
![]() | "Grandpa Visits" Grandpa was coming for supper, and Titch wanted to help prepare the meal, with Mum, Peter and Mary. No-one appreciated his help, until Grandpa arrived with a bag of peas to have with the sausages Mum was frying. The only problem was that Grandpa and Titch kept tasting the peas as they podded them, they tasted so good they ate all of them! But Grandpa liked his peas raw best, and Titch knew what Grandpa really liked to eat with his sausages. |
![]() | "Christmas Eve" It was Christmas Eve, and Titch was very excited. He'd left a mince pie by the fireplace for Father Christmas. But what if Father Christmas liked jam tarts best? Or chocolate log? Or sausage rolls? And what about the reindeer? They'd be hungry too. Titch made sure that they all had plenty of food to choose from. |
![]() | "Hide and Seek" Titch asks Peter and Mary to play hide and seek with him. They reluctantly agree, but warn him they won't play for long, as they plan to watch the football match which will be starting shortly on the television. Their plans are thwarted however, when Titch accidentally locks them in the cupboard they are hiding in. |
![]() | "Mathematical Titch" Mum has made some jam tarts, which she says Titch, Peter and Mary can share - when Peter and Mary have done their maths homework. As Peter and Mary struggle with their maths, Titch learns a lot about dividing and subtraction as hungry friends and relatives pop in and help themselves to the jam tarts. |
![]() | "Babysitter Titch" Mum and Dad are taking Peter and Mary to see a play, and Grandpa comes to babysit Titch. Mum tells Grandpa to make sure Titch is in bed and asleep before they get back. But by the time they do get back it's Grandpa who's asleep, exhausted by all the cowboy games he and Titch have been playing. |
![]() | "Grandpa's Treehouse" Dad is taking Peter and Mary go-karting. Titch would have liked to drive a go-kart too, but Dad says he's too little. As they leave, Grandpa arrives and decides to make Titch a go-kart. But by the time Peter and Mary return, the go-kart has transformed into a wonderful treehouse. |
![]() | "Dick Whittington's Tailcat" Mary, Titch's bossy elder sister, is excited because she's been chosen to play Dick Whittington's cat in the school play. Tailcat is mesmerised by her costume. Peter, Titch's elder brother is to play Dick Whittington. Mary is convinced she'll be the star of the performance, but she didn't reckon with Tailcat… |
![]() | "Great Aunt Edna Visits" Great Aunt Edna is coming to collect Titch to take him to the park, and Mum wants Titch to stay neat and tidy. She says he can go into the garden until Great Aunt Edna arrives, but he mustn't get dirty. Peter and Mary, who are digging in the garden, and Dad, who is painting the shed, are instructed to make sure Titch stays clean. In their efforts to prevent Titch from getting dirty, Dad, Peter and Mary end up covered in paint and mud when Great Aunt Edna arrives. Titch, however, remains immaculate. |
![]() | "Trick Or Treat" It's Halloween. Peter and Mary are dressed up and ready to go trick or treating. Titch wants to dress up too, and using an old sheet, dresses up as a ghost. Peter and Mary leave, telling him he's too little to go with them. Daisy, Titch's best friend, comes round to play. They both wish they were old enough to go trick or treating as it must be fun. |
![]() | "The Funfair" Dad takes Peter and Mary to the funfair. Titch is determined to win a prize for Mum. Peter and Mary keep collecting prizes, but Titch's attempts at winning only seem to end in disaster, until by a freak accident, Titch proudly walks away with a first prize. |
![]() | "Grandpa's Piano" Grandpa has donated his old piano to Titch's family, but finding a suitable place for the piano is not so easy, doors and cupboards get in the way. When, at last, the piano is about to be played, Great Aunt Edna discovers that one note isn't working - but Titch, who can only play one note on his wooden whistle, provides the missing note. |
![]() | "Sailor Titch" Grandpa is taking Titch, Peter and Mary for a picnic in the park. But Grandpa spots the boating lake, and Peter and Mary suggest a boat race before they have their picnic. Titch and Grandpa are not very good at rowing, but to everyone's surprise, and with some help from the wind, Grandpa and Titch win the race. |
![]() | "Tailcat and Bill Cat" Tailcat, Titch's cat, is very pleased with his new cat flap. But then, Daisy's Bill Cat, the naughty cat from next door, sneaks in through it. Poor Tailcat is blamed for the ensuing chaos, but the true culprit is eventually revealed. |

Great Aunt Edna has decided to come over and see the family, and Mum wants all the gifts Great Aunt Edna has given them prominently displayed before she arrives. The trouble is, Peter and Mary can't remember where they hid the sweaters Great Aunt Edna knitted for them, Dad can't remember where he hid the painting of Tailcat she painted for them, and Mum can't remember where she put the vase Great Aunt Edna made for them. |
![]() | "Presents" Titch watches Peter and Mary having fun on the skateboard and roller blades they were given for Christmas. Titch, who was given a sledge, just wishes it would snow. But after tea, Titch gets his wish, and it's Peter and Mary's turn to watch Titch having fun. |
